This was the day many travelers dream about. We visited Sirena Ranger Station, often called one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. A three-hour guided hike delivered incredible wildlife sightings and hands-on learning, from tropical birds to mammals hidden within the rainforest.

The afternoon in Drake Bay was laid-back and scenic. One small enhancement that could elevate the experience even more would be a quick stop at a local cantina or café — a casual moment to connect with village life.

That night, another beautifully executed dinner awaited us onboard — once again blending local Costa Rican flavors, elevated fusion techniques, and visually striking presentation.

Day 4: Snorkeling at Caño Island

After a different (and delicious) breakfast once again, we headed to Caño Island. Snorkeling here was a highlight: clear waters, colorful fish, and sea turtles gliding past effortlessly.

The afternoon was spent relaxing on the island’s beach — barefoot, unhurried, and fully present — followed by yet another meal that felt thoughtfully designed rather than routine.
