After your arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport, our staff members will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel in San Jose.

Day 2
Begin your journey to Tortuguero on the Caribbean coast. A shared land and boat transfer will take you through scenic landscapes and into the lush canals of Tortuguero. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon to explore.

Today’s activities include a boat tour through Tortuguero National Park’s wildlife-rich canals and a visit to the colorful village to learn about the area’s culture and sea turtle conservation.

After breakfast, board a boat and tour bus for your return to Guápiles. From there, a private transfer takes you to the Arenal Volcano area. Check in and enjoy views of the volcano.

After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to the San Enjoy a relaxing morning at the lodge. Around noon, transfer to the Drake Bay airstrip for your local flight back to San José. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for the final night.
